Fetching coin data
The pot lost its rim, and based on the shape and weathered appearance of the break, it seems likely that the upper portion of the vessel was sheared off. The fabric is rigid, slightly sandy, and a light grey colour. The base is small and grooved beneath, giving the effect of a vestigial foot-ring, while the profile has a pronounced bulge. The surviving part of the pot is 5¾ in. high and 7 in. wide, and the footstand is 2½ in. wide.
